If we had always full access to our intuition, we wouldn’t bother talking about it. It would be like the fish trying to understand the water, well, water is water and nothing else.
The problem is that we cannot always listen to our intuition just like we cannot always see the sun, even if we know he (or she) is always there.
What stands between us? Well, read one of the previous articles, Change your mind’s app.
Many things can stand between us and our intuition, just like many things can stand between us and our happiness, success, calmness or even enlightenment.
Most of these have to do with “inception” (in science fiction, the act of instilling an idea into someone's mind by entering his or her dreams.)
As we grow, we accept many ideas and inner programs that are not ours. Family, school, friends and relatives, society, religion, and morality, force many ideas and rules that don’t belong to us.
Just like an additional app on our phone stops the function of the original that was there before, exactly like this all these added software, block our access to our original mind who has tools like intuition, instinct, inspiration etc.
Another thing that comes between us and our intuition is guilt or being forced to trust the wrong people. Low self-esteem, low self-confidence, make us stop trusting our inner voice just because someone with authority (usually parent or spouse) gives us their opinion about how things have to be. In that case, we become good kids and we block access to our own tools, or else we will have to fight.
This process is not always violent, sometimes sweetness and tenderness are their weapons.
There are many ways to break those roadblocks, without having to fight or burn bridges, although sometimes it’s inevitable.
One of them is, of course, life coaching, a tool that can open our eyes, remove inner programs.
(Never allow any coach to add or replace existing programs, except as a temporary measure, the real coaching is de-programming)
